Home runs carry Knights to victory
 
Jade Thrower, Kirsten Brant and Zoe Hughes each homered to power the Knoch softball team to a 9-4 victory over Kittanning Monday.
Amanda Sheppeck pitched a complete-game victory, backed by a 14-hit barrage by the Knights.
In other games:
• Slippery Rock's Lindsay Bennett had two triples and Morgan Robinson tossed a five-inning no-hitter with nine strikeouts in an 11-0 victory over Farrell.

Seneca Valley 15, Butler 6 — Lindsay Flavion had four goals and Melissa Ball and Shannon Quail had three apiece to lead the Raiders (8-3, 5-0) to the win.
Berta Miller also scored two goals for Seneca Valley while Butler was led by Chelsey Rock's four goals.
