On Wednesday, March 12, WTAE-TV, Channel 4,visited the Seneca Valley Senior High School to recognize Junior Megan Powell as the Athlete of the Week.

Megan participates in a number of Seneca Valley sports while also maintaining a 3.9 GPA.

Guy Junker, sportscaster from WTAE, along with the Clearview Federal Credit Union, gifted the senior high school $250 in Megan's name. Principal Mark Korcinsky said he will work with Megan to determine how the grant will be applied. In the meantime, Megan will be seen on WTAE-TV, Channel 4's evening broadcast on March 13.
